Painting, ink and pen, gouache, heightened with gold, vellum 7 x 7 cm (irregular); Latin ms. text on verso (dress of the saint faintly rubbed, old trace on verso).

Cut out of a liturgical musical manuscript: at the centre, on a red pen finely designed background, Catherine dressed in red and green, holding the breaking wheel of her martyrdom, and a kneeling donator with a banderole reading "Ora pro nobis". To the edges, two strips representing couples of grotesques (one with human faces) on blue background. Nice miniature, colours still vivid.
