1st ed. (2nd Bologna 1493) of a humanist Latin translation, by the Italian scholar Gregorius Tiphernas (1413-1464), of a speech on the virtues of a sovereign by the Greek orator Dion Chrysostom (1st c. A.D.). A rare early humanist incunable, appropriately printed in roman type. Decoration: on f. 2r a pen-drawn Italian style border in green and crimson, with at the bottom a green bordered shield on a crimson background (no arms added); 4-line gilt initial with blue penwork background.
