Important revised edition of the "Compendium chronicorum Flandriae" (1538), an early humanist history of Flanders, from the Counts of Flanders until Charles the Bold, by J. Meyerus (1491-1552). Large woodcut Steelsius mark on 1st and last page. Title within ornamental border. Mechelen prize book awarded to "Guilhelmus Van Oorbeeck" on 23 Aug 1810 (inscription on front flyleaf). Ref.
