Paper bifolium, c. 23 x 19 cm, 3 pp. + 1 blank, black wax seal with arms (paper spotted).
In good condition.
Wellens (1726-1784), 17th bishop of Antwerp (1776-1784), explains to his brother some stipulations in his testament, esp. on financial arrangements and promises for the continuity of catechetical instruction in his bishopric. Interesting historical document.
