Laid down on paper. Hinged at upper edge. Under passe-partout.
First state of this nautical general map of Europe, the British Isles, North Africa, etc., with a particular circular representation of Iceland (corrected in later ed.) and the mythical island of Brazil to the south west of Ireland. From a Latin ed. (1585, 1586 or 1591) of the famous "Spieghel der Zeevaerdt" (leaf I, no pagination).
