12mo: [12]-309-[12-1 bl.] ff. (sl. toned, final f. stained and with hole in blank part).
Contemp. overl. vellum, spine titled in ink, remains of ties (endpapers gone). Very good copy.
Very rare 3rd Welle ed. (1st 1566, 2nd 1573) of St Jerome’s letters, edited by the Dutch Jesuit Petrus Canisius (1521-1597), with his preface to Dillingen University (dated 1565).
