Later calf, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, speckled edges (corners bumped).

Rare academic edition, given by the French humanist J. Boulier, of this philosophical work by one of the greatest classical philosophers.

Bound with, same author, place, ed. and date: De officiis [...] libri tres. Item de amicitia, de senectute: paradoxa & de somnio scipionis [...]. 311 pp. (marg. last f. starting to fray).
