Reused limp vellum from a medieval manuscript, flat spine, red edges (rubbed, some sm. wormholes, endpapers lifted).

16th-c. guides on preserving good health, of which the first 2 abundantly ill. with in-text woodcuts, with interesting advices: why beer and wine is good (and where to find the best beer and wine or how to brew it yourself), to abstain from sex during the siesta, daily food, etc. Written in Latin, but with large extracts in vernacular German. 1.
