Second issue, with new dates. The "Cronique", a compilation from various authors revised and completed by Sauvage, covers the years 1384-1435. The "Mémoires" of de La Marche cover the period 1435-1488 years and contain important information on the organisation of feudal society and the reign of Charles the Bold. Ferdinand-Ignace Malotau de Villerode, provost of Valenciennes, appointed honorary advisor to the Douai Parliament by Philippe I of Orléans after he saved the city from being destroyed by fire. He is the author of several manuscripts on the monumental and heraldic history of the Northern France and the Low Countries.
