Mod. limp vellum, flat spine titled in ink (sl. soiled). Very good copy.

3rd ed. (1st 1471) of the Donatus moralisatus, attributed to the famous chancellor of the University of Paris, J. Gerson (1363-1429). The title refers to the widely used medieval Latin grammar of Donatus (4th c.). The Donatus moralisatus is a mystical grammar, in which the noun was compared to man, the pronoun to man’s sinful state, the adverb to the fulfilment of the divine law, etc. Printed in in gothic type.
