Virgin of Carmel is the title given to Virgin Mary in her role as patroness of the Carmelite Order, particularly within the Catholic Church. - 2. Virgin Mary with Child. Ca. 18th c. Embroidery on linen, golden silk thread, silver metallic thread, coloured embroidery thread, punched with little nails in the corners (some sm. holes in the linen background revealing the support fabric). - 3.
