Lot description
Drawing, pastel, 36 x 53,5 cm (visible), wove paper, monogrammed in pen and stamped "Atelier Léon Frédéric" at bottom right (occ. pinholes in the outer margins).
Under passe-partout and frame (not studied outside frame).
Frédéric (1856-1940) was a Belgian Symbolist painter who worked in the studio of Jean-François Portaels.
Prov. Guy Mees (1935-2003), Belgian artist based in Antwerp.
