11 etchings, ca. 6,2 x 8,4 cm, laid paper, on title plate: "Nouveau Testament / faict par Iacques Callot / qui na sceu finir le reste / prevenu de la mort. / l'annee 1635. / A PARIS / Israel Henriet ex. / Cum Privil. Reg.", some signed: "Callot" (cut to image, some sl. browned, mainly on edges).

Mounted at upper edges on laid paper (21,3 x 13,3 cm), bound in 19th-c. polished calf, covers with decorative blindstamped frame within gilt-ruled border, gilt orn. spine with 5 raised bands and black leather title label, gilt sides and orn. inside dentelles, red edges, marbled endpapers (sides and corners sl. rubbed).

Complete set, including the title plate by Abraham Bosse (no n. in Lieure), of the New Testament series. Cut to image so unclear which states.
