1. Bloemaert, Frederick. Bloemaert, Abraham (after) - Title plate for the first part of Abraham Bloemaert's "Oorspronkelyk en vermaard konstryk tekenboek". Amsterdam, Nicolaes Visscher. Etching and chiaroscuro woodcut from 2 blocks in brown, 30,4 x 22,3 cm (trimmed inside platemark, repaired tears and holes, creases, upper and lower edges strengthened). Hinged to paper at upper edge. This edition not in Hollstein. Ref. Hollstein II.86.36-155. - 2. Breenbergh, Bartholomeus - The inn near the grotto of Egeria. 1640. Etching, 18,2 x 12,7 cm. Good margins, impression and condition. Mounted at corners, under passe-partout. Ref. Hollstein III.210.23.II (of II). - 3. Van de Velde, Jan II - Boat on a ditch near a fortified castle. 1616. Etching and engraving, 10,2 x 16,1 cm (trimmed inside platemark, sl. soiled at centre). Good impression. Hinged at upper edges, under passe-partout. N. 2 from a series of landscapes and ruins. Ref. Hollstein XXIII.66-69.197. - 4. Visscher, Cornelis II. Berchem, Nicolaes Pietersz. (after) - The seated old herd. 1655. Etching, 19,4 x 26,6 cm (sm. marginal tear). Wide margins, possibly later impression. N. 4 from a series of landscapes. Ref. Hollstein I.278.289. - Hollstein XL.82.66.II (of II). - 5-7. Van Thulden, Theodoor. Rubens, Peter Paul (after) - The Joyous Entry of Ferdinand of Austria in Antwerp in 1635. 3 etchings and engravings, ca. 53,5 x 36,2 cm (trimmed inside platemark, sm. tears at edges, few stains, few holes, 1 browned, 1 with folds and repairs). Originally published in Casperius Gevartius, "Pompa Introitus Honori Serenissimi Principis Ferdinandi", 1641. Possibly later impression. Ref. Hollstein XXX.122-134.109, 111, 113.
Joined: 1. Pastoral landscape. 19th c. Drawing, pencil, black and grey ink, 14,9 x 23,0 cm, wove paper, apocryphally signed and dated at top left: "Berchem : f / .1654." (few light stains). Mounted on passe-partout at upper edge. - 2. Caritas. 17th c. Drawing, black chalk, brown ink, 23,7 x 19,4 cm, laid paper with unidentified watermark, unsigned (cut at corners, foxing). Hinged to cardboard at upper edges. Prov. Sigmund Landsinger (1855-1939), Croatian artist (stamp, L. 2358). (9 pcs)
