29 engravings, various dimensions, laid paper, several with address: "Thomas de Leu. excudit." (traces of former binding at left edge, margins sl. browned).
Good impressions with wide margins.
Both copies in reverse after the engravings by Johannes I and Raphael I Sadeler after Maarten de Vos. Published by the Flemish Thomas de Leu (1555-1612) who was mainly active in Paris. 1. Monogrammist NB - Solitudo sive vitae patrum eremicolarum. 1606. 19 engravings from a series of 30 (title plate, n. 1, 4-8, 11, 14-16, 18-21, 23-24, 27-28), ca. 16,7 x 20,2 cm, all with serial mark 3 at bottom right and Latin text in lower margin, several signed "NB", dated on the title plate.
