19 (of at least 33) years of this Belgian monthly magazine. Illustrated in the text or on full pages in b/w, 15 portraits or plans in b/w and with 226 chromolithographic pls, some folding. It was published by the Society of arboriculture of Belgium founded in 1864, and written by Burvenich, Pynaert, Rodigas and Van Hulle, teachers at the school of horticulture of Ghent. First entitled Bulletins of the academic society for the progress of arboriculture in Belgium, it appeared in French and Dutch without illustrations from 1864 up to 1871. From this date until 1905, it took the title above, appeared in both languages and was illustrated with chromolithographs of fruits (pears, apples, melons, grapes, berries...) by De Pannemaeker. Ref.
