Folio: [4 (of 12)]-806-[68] pp. (8 pp. in the prelims and 2X8 bl. lacking, light marginal dampstain, occasional light soiling and marginal staining). Inside good copy.

18th-c. calf, gilt arms on covers, gilt decorated spine on raised bands (heavily scratched, edges rubbed, front joint split, head def.).

Collection of Greek church historians (Eusebius Caesariensis, Ruffinus Aquileiensis, Evagrius Scholasticus, Socrates Scholasticus, Salaminus Hermias Sozomenus, Theodoretus Cyrrhensis and Theodorus Anagnosta), in Latin translations of Wolfgang Musculus and Joachim Camerarius. Neat typography with initials (some dotted) and Froben's mark on title and verso of last leaf. Ref. VD-16 E-4278. - Adams E-1095. - Cp. Machiels E-762 (1557 ed.). - Not in Matagne (other ed.). Prov.
