Original ed. of a history of Flanders by the Lille lawyer Jean d’Oudegherst (d. 1559), continued by his son Pierre (1540-1592). On account of Plantin’s occupation with the Polyglot Bible, the book was printed (with Plantin’s types!) by his Antwerp colleague Withagen. Woodcut mark on title.
