Second edition (1st ed.: 1722) of the French translation of "The Old and New Testament connected in the history of the Jews" by the English theologian H. Prideaux (1648-1724). The original edition of this work, given in London from 1715 to 1718, was a prodigious success in England and was reprinted nearly ten times in a few years.
