Contemp. calf, gilt orn. spine with 6 raised bands (corners sl. rubbed and bumped, joints rubbed).
2nd ed. of this work defending the "true catholic believes" of Th. Du Jardin, a Dominican monk in Ghent, written as a dialogue between Du Jardin and the protestant preacher Jacob Leydekker (1656-1729). Illustrated with 2 different engr. titles by J. Neeffs after David Herregouts and several small woodcuts in-text and as head- and tailpieces. Printed in 2 col. Titles in red & black.
