Early 17th c
Drawing, pen and black ink, 42 x 28 cm, laid paper with watermark (fleur de lis in circle), signed at lower right "Ianfranco".
The coronation by Christ of a saint. The feather in his hand might make an identification as St Paul (known for his letters) possible. The linear drawing style in combination with the brown wash point towards a northen Italian hand, which is also supported by the Italian watermark.
