Engraving, 34,3 x 23 cm, signed in plate at lower margin, wide margins (spotted and thinned paper, horizontal folding line, some creases, sm. hole at centre affecting the image).

Commemorative print of the Augustinian Order of Brussels, dedicated to the city of Brussels and to the recently deceased Archduke Albrecht of Austria (1559-1621). A chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece encircles an enthroned God the Father, holding a cross. The whole scene is surrounded by eight banners (telling the story of the theft of the Blessed Sacrament), an ornamented cartouche, and a lettered legend in a text margin. Only known state.
