9 drawings, pen and brown ink, 33 x 19 cm to 10 x 19 cm, laid paper (Heawood: 2753), unsigned, all titled.
Lovely oblong vignettes with putti representing mythological figures and stories, symbolising virtues and vices. 24 scenes spread over 8 sheets. One separate drawing with putti playing with a ram. They were attributed to the Antwerp painter Van Bree (1773-1839).
Joined: a collection of 30 drawings, various techniques, sizes and conditions. 19th c. Including portraits, figure studies, the cathedrals of Paris and Rouen, a jockey on a horse, and an Indian. Four are signed with intitial "E.W". (39 pcs)
