Lithography, 55 x 72 cm, velin paper, unsigned (several tears (2 to 6 cm) at edges, occ. foxing).

Famous satirical poster mocking the Parisian literary world, following the charge led by Victor Hugo who is described as "roi des Hugolâtres, armé de sa bonne lame de Tolède et portant la bannière de Notre-Dame de Paris". Writers following the colonne are Théophile Gautier, Cassagnac, Alexandre Dumas, Lamartine, Honoré de Balzac, etc.
Joined: 1. Bracquemond, Félix - Portrait of Charles Baudelaire. Etching, 14 x 9 cm, laid paper, signed in the plate. - 2. Van Muyden, Evert - Menu for Les Cent Bibliophiles dedicated to Baudelaire.
