Drawing, brown, grey and white wash, 24 x 33 cm, laid paper, signed at lower right "Haseleer 1886" (edges reinforced on verso).
Intriguing drawing of four men in toga visiting underground tombs or early Christian graves, probably the Roman Catacombs.
Joined: A collection of 28 French and German drawings with religious and mythological subjects, various techniques and sizes. Some after prints of Callot, Galle, and Goltzius. (29 pcs)
