2 drawings, charcoal heightened with white and red chalk, 28 x 47,5 cm, velin paper, signed and dated in pen at bottom "Z. Gengembre 1838" (some sm. tears at edges).

2 sheets with large crowds of oriental figures, probably set in French Northern Africa. Joseph Zéphirin Gengembre (1806-1888), was a Belgian Orientalist painter, mostly working in Paris.
