Set of 6 engravings, +/- 18,5 x 24 cm, irregular but good margins; with engr. names, Latin, French and Dutch captions and numbers [1]-6 (very sl. fox.).

Stuck by upper margins and bound in 1 vol., 27,5 x 39,5 cm, Bradel orange shagreen signed C. Honnelaître, gilt titled flat spine. Good copy.

Complete suite consisting of a trilingual title and 5 plates illustrating a widely popular fable (included e.a. in Aesop's or la Fontaine's fables), with moral "If you try to please all, you please none". Ref. Hollstein (De Mallery) XI, p. 160, 125-128. - Hollstein (Francken) VII, p. 8, 6-11.
