Rare first edition of this work on mathematics, also applied to astronomy, by Porto (d. ca. 1600), rabbi and mathematician from Trieste. He held rabbinical office in Padua and wrote a number of works on mathematics and astronomy in Italian and one in Hebrew "Over la-Soher". The 2nd part shows all the figures explaining the theory of part I and the trigonometric tables.
