Engr. ill. by Thomassin (d. 1733): 1 frontispiece, printer's device on title, 5 headpieces and 5 initials. Title in red and black. Vol. II contains a map of the Holy Land. Royal privilege granted on 27 November 1690 to the religious of the congregation of Saint Maur, order of Saint Benedict, for a period of 20 years, with a mention of transfer to the printers Louis Roulland and Urbain Coustelier, who associated Jean Anisson. Vol. I & II of our copy bear the name of Urbain Coustelier on title (vol. I with a flyer with Roulland's name).
