Engraving, contemp. hand-coloured with wash and watercolour, 43,3 x 50 cm, laid paper, unsigned.
A spectacular view of Cologne Cathedral, with a procession at the south side. The completion of the two west towers was in 1880, which allows for a terminus post quem for this view. At the time, it was the tallest building of the world.
