Italian landscape with a caravan of mules, passing by a group of resting pelgims. Both subject matter and picorial style are closely inspired by the works of the Dutch "Italianisant" painters such as Nicolaes Berchem (1620-1683) and Abraham Begeyn (1637-1697). Attributed to the latter, on verso.
