Contemp. blind-stamped vellum (some large repairs), spines with 8 raised bands, red leather title labels. Good copy.

Collected works of the most popular Dutch 17th-c. poet J. Cats (1577-1660). Engr. ill.: front. with portrait, full-page portrait by M. Natalis after Dubordieu (vol. I), another portrait by M. Moseyn after A. van de Venne (vol. II), over 100 emblematical ill. in-text and on part-titles, 4 full-page pl. (vol. II: portrait of Anna Maria Schuurman, 2 titles for "Buytenleven op Zorgvliet" and "Aspasia", and "Afbeeldinge van 's Menschen Leven") and 3 double-page pl. by A. van de Venne (vol.
