Antwerp, Cornelis Galle, 1640-1680. 4 engravings, 17 x 11,7 cm (plate), laid paper, signed in plate at lower right "Cor. van Caukercken fecit". Ref. New Hollstein (Van Dyck): 565, 567,570, 571.-- 5-7. De Jode, Pieter - Portraits of Maria de Medici, Prince Ruprecht, Henrietta Maria, Queen of England. Antwerp, Pieter de Jode, ca. 1650. Engravings, 16 x 11 cm (plate), laid paper, signed in plate. Ref. New Hollstein (Van Dyck):25, 246, 265.-- 8. Hollar, Wenceslas - Portrait of Carolus Ludovicus. Antwerp, 1646. Etching, 28,2 x 21 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in plate "WHollar fecit" (laid down on paper mount). First state (of 2). The portrait is based on Van Dyck's painting, now kept in the Edith A. and Percy S. Straus Collection in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (inv. no. 44.532). Ref. Hollstein (Van Dyck):122.1.
Joined: Vermeulen, Cornelis. After Adriaen van der Werf - Portrait of Catherine Howard. Engraving, 32 x 18,5 cm, laid paper with watermark (Double C), signed in plate (edges reinforced on verso, some stains). Illustration to Isaac de Larrey's "Histoire d'Angleterre", Rotterdam 1697.
