Part of the series "Sacra eremus ascetarum" (25 pl.) with depictions of various Catholic hermits after design by Bloemaert. Including Saints Bavo, Machari, Abram, Arseni, Benedict and Jesus with the Devil. Good dark impressions of the 2nd state (of 2) with added engraved text in lower margin.
