Interesting, but incomplete copy of Fricx' atlas which was published in the same year that he finished his topographical map of the Southern Netherlands in 24 sheets. 18 (of 24) pl. of this map constitute the 1st part of this volume, the 2nd part has 34 (of 49) plans of towns, fortresses, sieges, and battlefields in Ostend, Ghent, Mons, Douai, Brussels etc. Most of the plates are engraved by Jacob Harrewyn.
