Holy trinity.

Miniature painting on vellum, 24,7 x 18,2 cm, gold leaf and tempera (old traces of binding in the left margin, several lacunes in the figures, sm. fold at right side).

Small Spanish miniature with the Holy Trinity set against a blue Mandorla and carried by five angels. Enriched with gold leaf. Originally from a manuscript entitled "Statuts de la Confrérie de l'Archange Michel", possibly Valencia. Stylistically comparable to the representation of the Trinity in a manuscript from Valencia with the same title (Paris, Bibliothèque National, MS 4778, 1v.).
