Lot description

July-August 1710

2 parts in 1 vol., 4to (ca. 20 x 16 cm), [71-2 bl.-152-1 bl., 141] ff., on paper, in Latin (some blank ff. torn out, some minor soiling).

Contemp. sheep, gilt spine with 5 raised bands (rubbed, head def., corners bumped, bottom edge stained). In good condition.

Leuven philosophy course, written by the Binche student Josephus Dezomberghe. The course was taught by Petrus Vanhamme (pt. 1) and Van Liert (pt. 2). Illustration: 2 engr. front. (Ex Cathedra 3.2.1, here with address of Michael Haye and with portraits of St John the Evangelist and St. Gislenus in the lower (originally blank) medallions; 2 pen drawn diagrams (1 full-p.).
