Stuck in large album with green cardboard covers with contemp. art nouveau design (rubbed, spine gone). Nice collection.

Interesting iconographical collection. The album consists of numerous photos, cut-outs, postcards, images and drawings, all showing examples in gothic churches and cathedrals throughout Europe (mostly France, England and Germany), and throughout the ages, mostly 15th-16th century. The images are neatly arranged by century and by theme: details of characters & groups in windows, makers' signatures, ornaments, bible themes and characters, architectural details, "vitrerie blanche et grisailles" from the 16th to the 18th century, various religious subjects, heraldic windows, windows with profane themes, etc.
