4to: [2]-CXLI-[1 bl.] ff., 51 ll. (foxing, marg. dampstaining, some wormholes in 1st quarter of the vol., soiling, occ. ink staining).
19th-c. half calf, marbled paper covers, spine with gilt ruled raised bands (spine and joints sl. rubbed, lower joint strengthened with adhesive tape).
Commentary on the Epistles and Gospels by the French theologian and bishop William of Paris (13th c.), aiming to improve the priests' understanding of them. Text in Gothic type, in 2 col., with glosses surrounding the scriptures. Capital spaces, with guide-letters in the commentary. The first edition was published in Augsburg, in ca. 1472.
