Folio: [26]-cclxxx [= 280] ff. (some soiling or minor staining, outside margin of title short, sm. hole in ff. lviii and xciii touching a few letters).

Contemp. blind-decorated calf over wood, bevelled edges, covers with rectangular and lozenge-shaped frames with sm. square stamps (animals), spine with 5 raised bands, metal catch, corner-pieces and bottom supports, vellum endpapers (rubbed, rebacked with 18th-c. sheep, clasp gone, vellum endpapers lifted). Good wide-margined rubricated copy.

Early humanist ed. of Livy. Title in red and black within elaborate woodcut border and with Badius’ printing press mark.
