Unique collection of 22 drawings by the Antwerp artist Willem Linnig Junior (1842-1890), nephew of Joseph Linnig. The lot comprises landscapes, church ruins, figure studies and portraits. One watercolour sketch on canvas (18,8 x 22,5 cm), depicting a historical interior. Possibly by Joseph Linnig. Mostly signed "W.L. Junior". The collection was part of the workshop's stock, collected by Benjamin Linnig (1860-1929, brother to William Junior), as testified by the ex libris included in the lot.
