8vo : [8]-805-[19] pp. (age-toned, single wormhole throughout, marg. worming in 1st/last quires).  

Cont. blindstamped dark morocco (rubbed, corners def.), spine on 4 raised bands (headband def.). Good copy.

Later Frankfurt ed. of one of the oldest and best documented histories of the Reformation in Europe, by the Luxemburg historian Sleidanus (Schleiden 1506-Strasburg 1556). Engr. title. Printed within ruled borders. Front cover with blindstamped initials "C V E" (=  Conrad von Einsiedel) and date "1634"; on title his ownership entry "Conradus ab Einsiedlen.
