The very few which are mentionned here are: Carl Hertel (1832-1906), active in Mainz between 1863-1904 and Victor Franck (1852-1907), who succeeded his father at the head of the studio around 1879. Among the captions there is one particular beneath the first photo: "Château de Kurenz ayant appartenu à ma tante Caroline de Jaquemain". Further study could trace the provenance of this album.
