Old mottled calf (corners bumped), gilt spine with 5 raised bands (sm. def. at head & tail, front joint split), red leather title label, red edges. Good copy.
Rare second Antwerp edition (1st 1567) of this authoritative work by the Bruges magistrate J. de Damhouder (1507-1581). Woodcut ill.: full-page arms of the dedicatee Margaret of Austria in preface and of de Damhouder at the end (dated 1565), full-page portrait of de Damhouder and 14 large ill. in text.
