2 etchings, 25 x 18,2 cm, laid paper with watermark (Heawood:3187), unsigned (ms. numbering added in black and brown ink, some min. stains).
Variations on the Ionic column and a tomb monument with different coats of arms. Many of Dietterlin's whimsical architectural inventions were inspired by examples such as Serlio or Hans Vredeman de Vries. Both are illustrations (nos 32 and 58) to Dietterlin's "Architectura", published in 1598.
