Drawing, graphite pencil on brown paper, 13,3 x 21 cm, signed with black ink on verso "Wallace" (sl. toned paper, old glue marks on verso).

Atmospheric drawing of the pond near Warwick Castle. John Wallace Tucker (1808-1869) was a Scottish landscape painter working in Devon and Warwickshire. The medieval castle of Warwick and its 18th-century parks enjoyed particular interest among English romantic landscape artists for their picturesque qualities.
Joined: Anonymous - English landscape with classical pavilion. Aquarelle on paper, 12,5 x 19,5 cm, unsigned. Under passe-partout. (2 pcs)
