Etching, 11,3 x 10,6 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in the plate "H.Herschop 1652" (trimmed to borderline, plate sl. rubbed).
Under passe-partout.
Rare etching by the Haarlem painter Hendrick Heerschop (1627-1690), who was a pupil of Willem Claesz. Heda. He made only a handfull of etchings in the style of Rembrandt. Only state.
