4to: 3 engr. titles, 367 circular engr. plates, 7,4 x 7,4 cm (tiny wormholes in blank margin of first ff., minor spotting).

Contemp. calf (rubbed, corners sl. bumped), gilt spine with 5 raised bands (def. at head & tail, some repairs), slipcase. Good well-preserved copy.

Very nice suite of portraits of saints (one for each day of the year) by the Dutch engraver and publisher J. Goeree (1670-1731), after the French ed. by Gautrel (Paris 1689) with plates by Le Clerc, Lepautre and Dolivar.
